The Final Stretch: Striving to Overcome the UDL Theory to Practice Gap in Teacher Education

Thursday, March 31st, 1:15-2:15pm ET

This session focuses on the ongoing collaborative reform efforts of a team of teacher education faculty at a regional comprehensive university in the southeastern US to develop effective UDL learning and practice opportunities for teacher candidates, cooperating teachers, and clinical faculty. Specifically, participants will learn about current efforts to address the UDL theory to practice gap, and experience learning activities used in seminars with student teachers and professional development workshops with clinical faculty and cooperating teachers.
