Root Canal or Grassroots Effort: Reflections on Authentic UDL Implementation & Scaling from Classroom to School District

This action research project explores one central Florida school district’s current placement in UDL implementation as perceived by administrators, district administrators, educators, and existing data. Research questions focus on (1) Where is the district in UDL implementation? (2) What are the current attitudes and beliefs towards UDL? (3) How can the district recruit the interest of educators to ensure authentic engagement & usage of the UDL framework? 

This study is currently in progress and reported findings are preliminary.
