Philinda Mindler, LCSW, is Team Leader of the Adolescent Resource Center (ARC) program at Children & Families First. She presents sexual health education sessions in schools and provides counseling in ARC’s medical clinic partnership with Nemours. Before entering the field of reproductive health education, Philinda was a case manager at a Head Start program that served an emergency shelter, followed by a position as a Children’s Services Coordinator in an interpersonal violence shelter. Those experiences working with families in crisis sparked an interest in empowering people to plan their reproductive lives as a way to improve their quality of life.
