Pamela Brillante, Ed.D. is a Professor in the Department of Special Education and Professional Counseling at The William Paterson University of New Jersey with specialties in early childhood inclusive practices and disability studies. She is the author of Essentials of Supporting Young Children with Disabilities in the Classroom and co-author of Universal Design for Learning in the Early Childhood Classroom, 2nd edition. She directs an innovative program in Disability Studies. As a former special education teacher and state specialist, she also consults with school districts.
