Implementing UDL in a Franco-Manitoban Elementary School: Promoting the Well-being of Teachers and Learners

Few studies on UDL focus on its effectiveness and impact on the well-being of teachers and their students. This action research aims to describe the influence of UDL on teachers’ and their learners’ well-being. This presentation describes UDL’s impact on the well-being of Ten teachers from elementary school teachers and their students and observes this evolution throughout the school year. The semi-structured interviews emphasize that students are engaged and motivated in activities implementing UDL, and the challenges associated with the implementation of UDL concern mostly planning, the time it requires.
