Cherie Smith is a regional school improvement consultant who supports schools the implementation of Universal Design for Learning. Her experience as a special education supervisor, adjunct instructor, consultant, and intervention specialist at the secondary level in both Florida and Ohio has helped her coach and train school districts in designing for a variety of learners. She is a member of the Ohio UDL Collaborative for 7 years and she has been the co-chair of the UDL-IRN Implementation SIG for 5 years.
