Ms. Carrie Wozniak is the Superintendent of Fraser Public Schools. This is her 12th year working in Fraser, and her 4th year as Superintendent. She is passionate about creating positive and engaging learning environments for all of our students. She has worked closely with our technology department to ensure that students, teachers, and staff have the training and background to implement a dramatic change to the learning environment.
Before taking the position of Assistant Superintendent in Fraser Public Schools, Ms. Wozniak was a Literacy and English Language Arts Consultant for the Macomb Intermediate School District, (2006 2011). Prior to that, Ms. Wozniak spent 10 years with Lake Shore Public Schools as a classroom English Teacher. Using technology to help improve both teacher and student instruction is a passion for her. She has led many professional development sessions on the topic of Universal Design for Learning, and she promotes the importance of using technology to help reach all learners.
Ms. Wozniak earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan – Dearborn, master’s Degree at the University of Michigan, and Educational Specialist Degree at Oakland University. She enjoys spending time with her family – especially her two nieces Georgie and Anna, and her nephew Theo.
