Dr. Aleksandra Hollingshead is an Associate Dean of Inclusion and an associate professor in special education at the University of Idaho, in Moscow, ID. She is a former classroom teacher of students with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Hollingshead serves as an associate editor for the FOCUS on Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities journal. Dr. Hollingshead’s research agenda focuses on students’ engagement in learning and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). She teaches courses related to special education curriculum, collaboration, culturally responsive pedagogy, and UDL.
